Congratulations are in order for former Miss South Africa Dr Tamaryn Green and Zesimdumise ‘Ze’ Nxumalo.

The couple, who started dating in 2019, had a beautiful Umembeso – a Zulu traditional ceremony that happens after dowry has been paid. This is where the groom gives gifts to bride’s family.

The Umembeso comes six months after the couple got engaged at a vacation in the Kruger National Park in April.

The medical doctor and former model took to Instagram to share pictures of the ceremony.

She looked stunning in a blue princess ball grown, while Ze rocked traditional Zulu attire.

“Thank you Lord for a beautiful and blessed day. Thank you for blessing me with the love of my life,” Tamaryn wrote on Instagram.

Amongst some of the celebrities that congratulated the stars were Natasha Joubert, Sonia Fergina, Aisha Baker, Catriona Gray, and K Naomi Noinyane.
